Member Creed
Our charge is to gain access to equal after school opportunities for everyone.
To connect youth with elders who embrace their voices.
To eradicate the needs created by poverty, to ensure safe and sustainable communities.
We stand boldly along side our neighbors, our peers and our loved ones. Through us, the voices of of many, both young and old, can be heard.
We celebrate the work of after school leaders.
We honor the impact that youth-serving organizations have made.
We, Milwaukee’s youth, align our collective voices as one.
Our strength is found in the diversity and inclusion of us all.
Feedback & Input
The Milwaukee Youth Alliance works interdependently with Beyond the Bell's working groups to improve quality and participation of youth in after school programs. We provide feedback and input to the working groups about decisions they've made.
Mobile App Promotion
Our mobile app promotion goal is to make everyone in the city of Milwaukee aware of the Beyond the Bell mobile app and website. We partner with the Milwaukee community for resources and seek a variety of opportunities to promote after school programs through the mobile app.
Event Planning
We promote and support the work of commuity partners, initiaives and programs that directly impact the lives of youth in Milwaukee. We meet monthly to plan opportunities to showcase solutions to the issues that impact youth most.
